Terms of Service
It is understood that the plaintiff's attorney, an officer of the court, will submit true and accurate information by hand or electronically to the Sheriff for the purpose of conducting a mortgage foreclosure sheriff sale. This information will be forwarded to the designated vendor(s) to create the sheriff sale handbill, newspaper advertisement, settlement/distribution form(s), and the deed.

It is understood that the sheriff sale information and documents are public information and are available to the public as listed below:
- Luzerne County Courthouse: Office of the Sheriff
Prothonotarys Office
Tax Assessment Office
and by the Internet through World Wide Web using a standard Web Browser (recommended: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or newer) and Adobe Acrobat Reader (6.0 or newer).
- The sheriff sales are published by property location in the Times Leader newspaper in accordance to rule 3129.2 (Notice containing the information required: a brief description of the property to be sold, its location, any improvements, the judgment of the court on which the sale is being held, the name of the owner or reputed owner, and the time and place of the sale).
- The Sheriff Sales are published for three successive weeks on the (Day of Week) edition prior to the sale. The sheriff sales are published by the Luzerne County Bar Association in the Luzerne County Law Journal.
